Additionally, this lens features robust and easy-to-use physical designs to benefit both photography and cinema applications.
This addition to the G Master series provides greater sharpness with minimal aberration, with an optical design that includes one XA element, one aspherical element, two extra-low dispersion aspherical elements, two extra-low dispersion elements and two Super ED elements.
This optical design also features Sony's latest generation Nano AR II Coating, which reduces reflections, flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color.
Professional control and reliability
Flexible focus control is provided by features such as Full Time DMF (Direct Manual Focus), Linear Response MF and focus range limiter.
An aperture ring with switchable clicks and an iris lock provide extra exposure control.
MODE 1, 2 and 3 optical image stabilization ensures sharp images in a variety of shooting conditions, and the dust and moisture resistant design plus fluorine-coated front element maximizes reliability in harsh environments.
